Treat Yo Self 2011!

The Zedler version of Treat Yo Self is going to the State Fair of Texas. I mean, my dad ate fried cookie dough. Now that is #TreatingYoSelf! Sorry, I got caught up in Twitter speak. 

Bobby's first taste of a Fletcher's Corny Dog. He loved it! And peeps, DO NOT put ketchup on your corny dog. It is blasphemous.

 Bobby's favorite thing about the fair was hanging with the cousins. H was very sweet all day!

 Spending time with Honey isn't bad, either! Bobby loved the model trains inside the Greenhouse.

 And Bobby's favorite ride was the carousel! Well, it was the only ride he was willing to get on!

This was the most kid-friendly fair visit we've ever had. We went to the Midway, watched some shows and finished the day at the petting zoo & Little Hands on the Farm. We are usually all over the shopping tents and the auto show, but we still had fun!

Tim's favorite animal is a baby goat. He thinks they are the cutest things alive. Bobby was pretty smitten, too. We totally broke the rules and allowed the goats to eat from our hands. Bobby would hold out a piece of corn and make kiss-y noises to lure the goats over. Most of those little stinkers just grabbed the entire cup of feed from my hands. 

My favorite was the little zebra! He would have made the perfect little rug! KIDDING!!

Bobby was asleep before we reached I-30. He was petting sweatshirt in his sleep!
