Two Firsts for Bobby

Our sweet neighbors invited us to spend the day with them at their lake house this past weekend. We jumped at the chance to spend some time relaxing outside in the beautiful weather! Unfortunately, the wildfires near PK Lake made the horizon a bit hazy (and it kind of smelled like a camp fire for awhile) but as the day went on, the wind blew the haze away.
Bobby spent a lot of his first boat ride driving with Mr. Jerry!
Bobby absolutely loves Mr. Jerry!
Then he spent the rest of the time trying to drink Tim's tea. He's telling me "more"!

Watching the two dogs, Gus & Annie.
Bobby got a ton of kisses from those two.
In the picture below, you notice their deck and the stairs leading up to it. We showed Bobby the boundary of the deck when he was on it and showed him how to go down the stairs on his belly. He was doing so well, but while going down the steps one time, he started to slip off the edge and caught the corner right by his eye. I swear that kid can't go a weekend without maiming himself. You can see the cut in the pictures below that I took on Sunday.
We took a trip around part of the lake on their golf cart and it knocked our sweet boy out!
We had such an amazing time visiting with Renee and Jerry. We are super sad that moving means we won't have them as neighbors any longer, but we are so thankful to know them as friends, now! And maybe some day we could be lake house neighbors!?

On Sunday, we took Bobby for his first experience in duck feeding. There were a ton of ducks at the park we visited and I realized they must get fed a ton. None of the ducks were that interested in our hot dog buns and tortillas. Or maybe they get fed so much, they just got a little picky. But we found some geese that were willing to take the bread off of our hands.
Bobby loved it!
Bobby chased the ducks for a few minutes and after he realized he would never catch them, he stopped running and just waved bye-bye to them.
Although at this point in his life, Bobby would love just sitting in a parked car for hours on end playing by pretending to drive and pushing all of the buttons. But I am glad Tim and I got to have a little fun, too!
