Serious Family Fun

On Saturday, Tim and I got to hang out with his brother, Cory's, family. Jordan's sister and brother-in-law live in McKinney (driving out there, we were sure it was Durant, OK) and invited us to their neighborhood pool to swim and then for some BBQ afterward! We have not seen Austin & Madie Kate since the wedding, so we were due some time to hang out and play with them. Fortunately, the pool was super sweet - it had an actual beach all around the pool...but it was a chlorinated swimming pool. We had a fun holding handstand contests, breath holding contest and all sorts of fun activities. Those kids are growing up too quickly. It is crazy.

Unfortunately, I did not get a picture of Austin playing with baby Lydia. It was the sweetest thing I've ever seen. That boy loves his baby sister! We also learned that Madie Kate is a complete germophobe when it comes to her food! She is also pretty good at hiding quarters!

After the pool, we headed back to McCall & Kenny's house for some fabulous ribs, garden fresh fried okra, potato salad and beans! Cory has perfected a sauce that was to die for. The ribs were seriously some of the best I have ever tasted.

Although the visit was way too short, we were so happy to be able to see those kiddos again. Thank you to Cory, Jordan, McCall & Kenny for your hospitality and kindness!
