Happy Birthday, America

We celebrated our country's birthday like all good American's did...with friends, a cookout and swimming in this hot Texas sun!

I usually make a flag cake, but my blueberries fell all over my kitchen floor when trying to rearrange the refrigerator, so I had to make do. Thinking I will have to make this again in three weeks when I introduce Bobby to the greatness of the summer Olympics.

 We already started practicing our "USA! USA! USA!" chant. 

 Bobby had a great time in the pool. We couldn't get him out! He's still very hesitant in the water, which is good. Not sure when swim lessons will be appropriate for this guy, but definitely not this year!
