Wow! Time has flown by with me hardly noticing. But today, it is snowing outside, I shouldn't go anywhere, and my child is at Preschool (with a most probably early pickup due to the snow) so I'll spend these few precious moments recalling a few things that happened since October 31st.
Our backyard has a slope that allows us to see straight into our neighbor's house. And yeah, they can see into ours as well. The old owners put up 2 panels of fence right off of the porch to allow for a bit of privacy, but it also cut off my view of the entire backyard. So if Bobby was out by himself, I had a hard time seeing him. On a nice weather weekend day, Tim took down the fence panels and re-purposed them into a clubhouse for Bobby! It even has a secret door in the back!
For a long time we thought about what kind of sign to put outside the clubhouse. Should it say "Boys Only"? or "Bobby's Clubhouse"? Bobby suggested, "Hello! Welcome to Bobby's Clubhouse. Please come inside." We settled on this!
We love love love visiting Daddy's office and one morning, we brought some Chick-Fil-A breakfast to share with his co-workers!
This sweet picture inspired our Christmas Cards. Two sweet boys!
And remember this awful ice storm in the beginning of December? We were so thankful that we didn't loose any trees or electricity. We did have Daddy home for 4 whole days! It was wonderful - just the rest and recovery time we needed after a stressful fall and Thanksgiving!

Unfortunately, the icy mess made us cancel Bobby's Big 4th Birthday party. But we still celebrated! More on that in the next post!
